What the New Pricing Means for You

If you remain on your current Kajabi plan, your pricing will update on your first billing date on or after January 13, 2026 (see details below). Your features and limits will stay the same, but you won’t have access to premium features or expanded limits included in the updated plans.

Here is a quick summary of the previous legacy plan pricing and the new pricing which will go into effect in January 2026:

What the New Pricing Means for You on Kajabi

Bespoke Plans: If you’re on a custom pricing plan, your new pricing (if applicable) will be reflected in the billing tab in your account settings.

Founder and Beta Invite Plans: You’ll continue to enjoy all the new features, and your price will stay the same. However, Founder and Beta plans will not have the Branded Mobile App or Dedicated CSM included. Branded Mobile App can be purchased as an add-on.

Along with updating pricing across all plans, they have also launched new plans which better reflect how Heroes actually grow.

Our new plans include more generous product limits to give you more flexibility to add new revenue streams and test new offers. With higher product limits and expanded capabilities, they believe the new plans will better serve the Heroes as you scale.

That said, plan migration is not required—the decision is yours. Regardless of whether you choose to migrate or not, pricing across both legacy plans and the new plans will be the same.

Here is a quick summary of the changes from the legacy plans to the new plans:

What Happens If You Migrate to a New Plan

Starting January 13, 2026, legacy plans will be priced the same as the new plans.

Migrating to a new plan will immediately unlock updated limits, and will adjust your pricing. You’ll also gain access to exclusive features, like Cohort Courses, Comment-to-DM, Video Translations and Transcriptions, and API, which are only available on certain new plans.

If you choose to switch before January 2026, your pricing will update to the new rate immediately. For a full breakdown of what’s included in each plan, see the details below.

How is percentage churn calculated?

🔹 Customer Churn Rate

Definition: The percentage of customers who cancel their subscription during a specific time period.

Formula:

Customer Churn Rate=(Customers Lost During PeriodCustomers at Start of Period)×100\text{Customer Churn Rate} = \left( \frac{\text{Customers Lost During Period}}{\text{Customers at Start of Period}} \right) \times 100Customer Churn Rate=(Customers at Start of PeriodCustomers Lost During Period)×100

Example:

Start of month: 100 customers

End of month: 90 customers (10 canceled)

(10100)×100=10% churn rate\left( \frac{10}{100} \right) \times 100 = 10\% \text{ churn rate}(10010)×100=10% churn rate

🔹 Revenue Churn Rate (MRR Churn)

Definition: The percentage of monthly recurring revenue (MRR) lost due to cancellations or downgrades (excludes expansion revenue).

Formula:

Revenue Churn Rate=(MRR Lost from Existing CustomersMRR at Start of Period)×100\text{Revenue Churn Rate} = \left( \frac{\text{MRR Lost from Existing Customers}}{\text{MRR at Start of Period}} \right) \times 100Revenue Churn Rate=(MRR at Start of PeriodMRR Lost from Existing Customers)×100

Example:

MRR at start of month: $10,000

MRR lost from cancellations/downgrades: $800

(80010,000)×100=8% revenue churn rate\left( \frac{800}{10,000} \right) \times 100 = 8\% \text{ revenue churn rate}(10,000800)×100=8% revenue churn rate

Tips:

Use consistent timeframes (monthly is common for SaaS).

Exclude new customers acquired during the period from churn rate calculations.

You can also calculate net revenue churn by factoring in expansion revenue (upsells).

How should I decide how much I charge for onboarding and setup fees for my GoHighLevel clients?

🔹 1. Your Target Client's Business Type & Budget

Local small business: $297–$997 is a common onboarding range.

Mid-size businesses or multi-location franchises: $1,000–$3,000+

Agencies or white-label partners: $500–$2,500 depending on scope.

📌 Tip: The lower your monthly SaaS fee, the more reasonable it is to charge higher onboarding for cash flow balance.

----

🔹 2. Your Offer Complexity

Break down what you're doing for them.
Example image attached:

----

🔹 3. Your Positioning (Done-for-You vs. Do-It-Yourself)

Do-it-yourself: Free onboarding or < $297 (use videos + templates).

Done-with-you: $297–$997 (group calls, limited hand-holding).

Done-for-you: $997–$2,500+ (hands-off experience).

📌 Tip: Frame onboarding as a “launch package” or “fast track to ROI.”

----

🔹 4. Competitive Benchmarks

Here’s what others often charge in the GHL space:

CRM/Funnel plan = $97–$297
Niche-specific automation bundle = $497–$1,000
Agency-in-a-box style = $1,000–$2,500+

----

🔹 5. Your Business Goals

Need cash flow upfront? Charge a setup fee.

Want low friction growth? Reduce or waive onboarding temporarily and upsell later.

Offering white-glove service? Price accordingly and show value with deliverables.

----

✅ Final Recommendation Formula:

Minimum Onboarding Fee = (Estimated Setup Hours × Hourly Rate) + perceived outcome value
Then round to pricing tiers like $297, $497, $997, or $1,997 depending on audience.
