Extendly Theme Customizer V2: white-label GoHighLevel without writing a line of CSS.

Out of the box, a GoHighLevel sub-account looks like GoHighLevel. Your client logs in, sees someone else's software, and prices your offer accordingly. The Theme Customizer is the tool that fixes that - a visual editor that restyles the login screen, sidebar, header, dashboard, fonts, and favicon across your agency, and keeps the theme working when HighLevel changes their UI.

I run this inside my own GoHighLevel white-label SaaS, eGrowthLab. Below is what it actually controls, how V2 differs from the old CSS-paste version, the setup order I use, and where it is not the right spend.

Affiliate link - my partner deal is applied automatically and it costs you nothing extra. There is a free tier, so you can build a theme before paying anything.

What it is

A visual theming layer for GoHighLevel agency accounts. Pickers and uploads instead of custom CSS, applied across your sub-accounts.

Who it is for

Agencies reselling GoHighLevel as their own software. If clients log in, this matters. If they never do, it does not.

My take

The highest perceived-value-per-minute change you can make to a SaaS offer. Style the login screen first and you have already justified the tool.

Watch it happen

Restyling a GoHighLevel SaaS end to end, unedited.

No slide deck. I open the Customizer, connect an account, and take a stock HighLevel platform to a branded one while you watch - it plays right here on the page.

What it actually changes

Every surface a client sees, brought under your brand.

Login and sign-up screens

Your logo, your background, your button colours, your wording. This is the first screen a client ever sees, and stock HighLevel login pages are the fastest way to get asked 'wait, what platform is this?'

Sidebar and menu

Recolour the sidebar, restyle the active state, change icon treatment, and hide or rename menu items so the nav reads like your product rather than a generic CRM.

Top bar and account switcher

Brand the header strip, the sub-account switcher, and the help/launchpad buttons that normally point clients back to HighLevel resources.

Buttons, links, and accent colours

One brand colour applied consistently across primary buttons, tabs, toggles, and links - instead of the default purple showing through on half the screens.

Fonts and type scale

Swap the platform typeface for your brand font so the software matches your website and your onboarding videos.

Favicon, tab title, and loading screen

The small stuff people notice: browser tab icon and title, and the branded loading state instead of the default spinner.

Dashboard and widget styling

Card styling, spacing, and colour treatment on the dashboard so the first screen after login looks designed instead of assembled.

Theme reuse across sub-accounts

Build the theme once and apply it, rather than pasting the same custom CSS block into every new sub-account you create.

V1 vs V2

What the V2 rebuild actually fixed.

If you tried the original Customizer and gave up on it, this is the part worth reading.

Setup order

Five steps from stock HighLevel to your software.

01

Open the Customizer

Use the link below to land on the Extendly Customizer with my partner deal applied. There is a free tier, so you can style a theme before you decide anything.

02

Connect your GoHighLevel agency account

You authorise the app against your agency account. Theming is applied at agency level, which is why this is an agency-plan feature rather than a sub-account one.

03

Load your brand

Upload your logo and favicon, set your primary and accent colours, and choose your font. The preview redraws the real platform screens as you go, so you are not guessing.

04

Style the login screen first

It is the screen with the highest 'is this really their software?' impact and it takes about two minutes. Background, logo, button colour, headline.

05

Publish and apply to sub-accounts

Push the theme live, then apply it to existing sub-accounts. New clients you onboard after this inherit a platform that already looks like yours.

The honest read

What it does well, and what it does not do.

Worth it because

  • You get a genuinely white-labeled look without touching CSS
  • The login screen alone changes how clients perceive the price of your SaaS
  • Themes are reusable, so onboarding a new client does not mean re-branding anything
  • Maintained against HighLevel UI changes - custom CSS is not
  • Free tier means you can see your own brand applied before paying

Be clear about

  • It styles GoHighLevel, it does not change how GoHighLevel works - features and layout are still HighLevel's
  • You still need the right HighLevel plan for true white-labelling and SaaS mode
  • Very custom layout changes still need real CSS on top
  • It is one part of ExtendlyOS - the support team and help center are separate pieces you may also want
Should you buy it

Depends entirely on whether clients log in.

Agencies about to launch a SaaS offer

Yes

Branding is the difference between selling software and reselling a login. Do this before your first demo, not after.

Existing SaaS operators on pasted custom CSS

Yes

You are one HighLevel UI update away from a broken-looking platform. This moves that maintenance off your plate.

Agencies using GoHighLevel only internally

Optional

If no client ever logs in, branding buys you nothing but a nicer workspace. Spend the money on support or training instead.

Anyone still on a starter HighLevel plan

Later

White-labelling and rebilling live on the higher plan. Sort the plan first, then theme it.

How it fits with ExtendlyOS

The Customizer handles how it looks. The rest handles how it is supported.

Branding a platform your clients cannot get help inside just makes a prettier place to be confused. The Customizer is one piece of ExtendlyOS - the same suite adds a white-labeled knowledge base, help docs, Support AI trained on real HighLevel support conversations, self-guided onboarding, and a 24/7 support team that answers your clients under your logo.

My order of operations for a new SaaS: theme it, put a help center behind it, then turn on support once real clients are in.

Extendly Customizer FAQ

The questions people actually search for.

What is the Extendly Theme Customizer?

It is a styling tool for GoHighLevel agency and SaaS accounts. Instead of writing custom CSS in your agency settings, you pick colours, fonts, logos, login screens, and sidebar styling in a visual editor and it applies the theme across your sub-accounts.

What changed in Theme Customizer V2?

V2 moved the whole thing to a live preview editor, added far more control over the login and dashboard screens, and made themes reusable across sub-accounts rather than pasted per account. It also stopped breaking every time HighLevel shipped a UI change, which was the biggest complaint about V1.

Do I need to know CSS to use it?

No. That is the point of the tool. Everything is done through pickers and uploads, and the generated theme is injected into your GoHighLevel account for you. If you do know CSS you can still layer your own on top.

How much does the Extendly Customizer cost?

Extendly runs a free tier you can style with, and paid ExtendlyOS plans unlock the full theme library, the branded help center, Support AI, and 24/7 white-labeled support. Pricing is set on Extendly's side, so check the current tiers on their page before you commit.

Does it work on any GoHighLevel plan?

Theming works on agency accounts. To resell a branded SaaS to clients you need the $497 or SaaS-mode plan on the HighLevel side, because that is what unlocks white-labelling and rebilling in the first place.

Is the Customizer the same as ExtendlyOS?

No. The Customizer handles how your software looks. ExtendlyOS is the wider suite around it: the branded knowledge base, help docs, Support AI, self-guided onboarding, and the 24/7 support team that answers your clients under your brand.
