GoHighLevel

What GoHighLevel actually costs

The sticker price is the easy part. The number that decides whether this works for you is the subscription plus usage minus the tools it replaces, and that is the number almost nobody publishes.

The three tiers

  • Starter: the full toolset, capped number of sub-accounts. Right if you are running your own business or a handful of clients.
  • Unlimited: no sub-account cap, plus the branded desktop app. Right once client number four or five arrives.
  • Pro / SaaS: adds SaaS mode, rebilling, and automated account provisioning. Right when you are selling the software itself.

List prices change and promotions run often, so check the current numbers on the signup page rather than trusting a blog post, including this one.

The usage costs on top

  • Phone numbers charged monthly per number.
  • Calls and SMS charged per minute and per segment.
  • Email charged per send once you connect a sending provider through the platform.
  • AI features charged per use.

A one-person agency running a few hundred contacts typically spends a modest amount here. A call-heavy operation can spend more on usage than on the subscription, so measure it in the trial rather than guessing.

What it replaces

The honest comparison is not GoHighLevel against zero, it is GoHighLevel against the stack you are already paying for: a CRM, a funnel builder, an email tool, a scheduler, a survey tool, a review tool, and whatever glue holds them together. Add those up first. For a lot of small agencies the platform costs less than the three tools it retires.

I wrote a full cost breakdown of that comparison on the GoHighLevel blog hub.

Common questions

How many GoHighLevel plans are there?
Three: a starter tier for running your own marketing with a limited number of sub-accounts, an unlimited tier that removes the sub-account cap and adds the branded desktop app, and a top tier that adds SaaS mode for reselling the platform under your own brand.
Is the subscription the whole cost?
No. Phone numbers, calls, SMS, email sending, and AI features are usage-based and billed from a prepaid wallet on top of the subscription. For a small agency this is usually tens of dollars a month, not hundreds, but it is never zero.
Which plan do I need to resell it as my own software?
The top tier. SaaS mode is what lets you rebill sub-accounts under your own brand and pricing. If reselling is the plan, the higher subscription is usually covered by two or three client accounts.
Is annual cheaper?
Yes, annual billing carries a discount compared with paying monthly. Do not take it until you have run a full trial and onboarded at least one real client.
