How to leave a Google review
Sharing your experience on Google takes about a minute. Follow the steps below on your phone or computer - no special app required.
Leave a review on mobile
- Open the Google Maps app or tap the review link the business shared with you.
- Search for the business by name if you opened Maps directly.
- Tap the business, then scroll to the Reviews tab.
- Tap Write a review and sign in with your Google account.
- Select a star rating, write your feedback, and tap Post.
Leave a review on desktop
- Go to Google Maps or open the review link from the business.
- Search for the business by name.
- Click the business listing, then click Reviews.
- Click Write a review and sign in if prompted.
- Choose a star rating, write your review, and click Post.
Tips for a helpful review
- Mention what you ordered or the service you received.
- Call out staff by name when they made your experience great.
- Add a photo - reviews with photos stand out.
- Keep it honest and specific so other customers can trust it.
